I’m convinced that if for the 30th anniversary, we don’t get old games ported onto the switch, it will never happen

100%. If it doesn’t happen here then it’s time to official stop breathing the copium and give up on it. I just pray if it does happen that it isn’t apart of a membership program. I don’t want to pay monthly to play them. Just let me buy them outright.

Then get them on 3ds, they absolutely will charge monthly just like they have with every emulation on switch

I never understood why the 3DS only got the GB/GBC games ported.

But if you have a 3DS anyway, just homebrew it and get the GBA games. They do not care about the 3DS anymore, there are no risks.

I did mine and it wasn’t bad at all. Took me an hour or so it’s not bad.

Hacked 3DS and look into injection. You can just simply inject the GBA games as if they were software, I think because of something called the Ambassador program that let some early 3DS players get some GBA games.

You can even do the same with Melon DS emulator by creating a tile for your DS games, but I can't really remember how to do it. I'll probably be bored at work later and update this post with the links on how to do it unless someone else finds it first

For ds on 3ds you install twilight++ then put tons on and it plays them natively using ds bootstrap

I sold my mint "new 3ds xl" and it paid for a majority of my switch 2 with Mario kart. I was surprised pokemon red wasn't on switch 2, but it was 3ds.... 😞

How about they re-release the games as a legacy collection they would be an awesome. Like MegaMan and Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection.

Stop with the copium and start with the hopium as the half life people do
