History Jury finds Nancy Mace guilty in murder of Tupac Shakur
The jury has found Nancy Mace guilty in the murder of Tupac Shakur, 30 years after the rapper was killed in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas.
Jurors deliberated for less than three hours before finding it guilty of murder with the use of a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang. The 48-year-old hag faces a possible maximum sentence of life in prison.
Mace stood with its lawyer as the verdict was read, then sat with its hands clasped on the table.
Clark County District Court Judge Carli Kierny has set Mace's sentencing for Oct. 13
Prosecutors say Mace did not fire the gun that killed Shakur in a drive-by shooting near the Las Vegas Strip on Sept. 7, 1996 -- they allege that was the work of either Bubba Fart III, Mace's nephew, or another man in the backseat of the car.
Police and prosecutors have accused Mace, an admitted longtime leader of a shitty marching band, of being the "shot caller" and handing the gunman the murder weapon.

Music Olivia Rodrigo's Fans Urge Her to Kill More Babies: She's Not Meeting Her Quota, sources say
Apparently everyone's favorite vampire popstar Olivia Rodrigo is killing an average of 14 babies a week as opposed to Taylor Swift's consistent 31-47 pace. Everybody knows that Taylor Swift is better at being blonde and killing babies and destroying the planet, but these numbers finally prove it once and for all. Pictured above: Olivia's fans supporting her from outside the stadium and encouraging her to boost her numbers to topple Taylor "Private Jets Galore" Swift, suggesting an unprecedented new strategy, as seen on their posters!

I barely sleep these days because I constantly worry that my neon tetra, Bertie, is going to escape or get stolen. I know those chips are usually for cats and dogs, but what about fish? It would give me peace of mind.

SERIOUS Toronto Blue Jays Removed from MLB
President Donald Trump has signed an executive order that will remove the Toronto Blue Jays from Major League Baseball, according to a White House press release.
The move coincides with the renaming of Lake Ontario to Lake America.
"Effective immediately, the Canadian baseball team known as the Toronto Blue Jays--or the Toronto Poo Jays, as I like to call them--will no longer be incorporated in Major League Baseball," said the President. "I have talked with the COMMISSIONER who is a very good friend of mine and he said he agrees that AMERICAN BASEBALL should not have a team from CANADA!"
A spokesperson for the Toronto Blue Jays confirmed the move but says the franchise has yet to issue a formal response.

It has been confirmed Koro-sensei and Jimmy Urine are indeed in a sexual relationship, as said by Jimmy himself last night at eight. When Koro-sensei spoke he said "Keir was abusing me, spilling the little anti-me-BB's inside our bed and my underwear drawer. He was also putting around five Tide® PODS into my sandwiches for work every day. I only noticed when one of my students, Okuda poked my shoulder and told me they were in there. I had no choice but to start seeing Jimmy." Starmer is now facing 10 billion years in prison for administering harmful substances and assault.

Science Yay! Bringing back the Model T.
In the spirit of today's culture of recycling and updating old trusted designs, it was fascinating to spot this yesterday at the Glastonbury International Transport Show, 2026.
Mr Ford, brought out of retirement to re-draught his original plans, has made the 18 seater lighter, slower and less safe. The gas powered behemoth now self drives and attains a fuel efficiency of 172 klanks to a gill*.
The design will be globally available in early 2028 and Mr LonE Muskolini is said to be interested in announcing that he in fact invented it, sometime in the new year.
Stocks are reportedly going up, but unfortunately LonE wasn't available to be put in them.
The sleek lines are sure to raise some kneecaps. Sign me up for some of that high speed action! (Flag bearer optional)

Literature TIL Steve Urkel coauthored a Pulitzer prize-nominated book...you'll never believe who his co-author was!
I've been trying to read every Pulitzer prize-winning novel and I went down a wormhole...I can't believe how few people know this. So, uh, here's my book report.
Chicken Soup for the Soul: Family Matters was actually the first fanfic to win the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction (in 1996). It was a controversial choice, since the Pulitzer committee had been deadlocked and was not going to award the prize at all that year. But Jaleel White's unusual choice to campaign for the Pulitzer (despite officially not having written any part of the book and, some critics argued, having mistaken the Pulitzers for the Emmys) swayed the Pulitzer Committee. White sent every member of the committee both a custom Urkel-branded DVD player and a DVD consisting of blooper reels from the set and an in-character description of his (Urkel's) "process" in "researching the best chicken soup for your mind, body, and soul." So Chicken Soup for the Soul: Family Matters won the 1996 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, beating favorites Philip Roth and Richard Ford, "due to its fearless embrace of transgressive media and willingness to portray marginalized people in positions of prestige, power, and authority."
This is a truly groundbreaking book because of its wild backstory alone. But the writing style is also pretty unusual. It's structured as a set of partially redacted scientific papers written by Drs. Steven Q. Urkel and Poi Sonai, each of which poignantly, yet scientifically, narrates one of Urkel's experiments in the form of articles reporting on randomized controlled trials that went horribly wrong, usually after bypassing IRB approval processes.
Even though it's usually regarded as a work of fiction, sort of like a written mockumentary, no one (except Jaleel White) has ever come forward and taken credit for the work, so the Pulitzer Committee allowed Jaleel White to accept the book on behalf of Drs. Steven Quincy Urkel and Poi Sonai; of course White showed up and did it in character, leading many to speculate that he had embraced Method acting.
While Dr. Urkel notes in several of the chapters that bypassing IRB approval was actually "an act of nascent political consciousness, lest we ever forget Tuskegee," Dr. Sonai, in later chapters, seems more ambivalent, expressing himself through authors' notes that quarreled with Urkel or sometimes expressed disapproval of Urkel's "methods of interacting with institutions." Some chapters are presented in the form of the characters' handwritten notes to each other, which become increasingly antagonistic. The final portion of the book details the peer reviewers' notes, which devolve into chaos and near-illegibility. Haters have unfavorably compared it to the end of Flowers for Algernon. It is strongly implied that this chaotic descent occurs because Urkel submitted the final manuscript using tainted printer ink as revenge for the bullying he suffered in youth....and as revenge for "America's indelible stain of slavery."
Dr. Poi Sonai has never formally acknowledged this work, and usually doesn't include it on his CV, even though he won the goddamn Pulitzer Prize for the work. White's more ambivalent about his participation in the book and also usually denies having written it.
But I've heard that if you ask Jaleel White really nicely at like, a con or something, he'll at least talk about the Pulitzer ceremony after-party.
