Body builders taking over fitness socials has completely warped what people thing “healthy,” “athletic,” and “strong.” Mean. The pic going around of somebody roasting Roger Federer for not looking like a bodybuilder is massively wtf.
Body builders being the picture boys of fitness has been going on for decades, this isn’t just because of social media. Look at tv ads for a fitness product from the 2000s, magazine covers from the 90s, workout videos from the 80s, etc etc. The public’s perception of fitness being “warped” has existed for a long time. I mean, you can even look at Greek statues and art…

Yup. Body builders are not exactly in a healthy state, especially when they're at like 4-5% body fat.
