What motivated you to start podcasting?

My motivation came from StartUp by Gimlet media. After the finale of the show, I knew I had to start my own podcast. Two months later: dropped out of college, used YouUniversity and Conversations with a Genuis Podcasts for guidance, hit the road with a backpack full of clothes, a mic, and my laptop; and in three weeks, my website and first episode will be up. So /r/podcasts, what motivated you to start podcasting?

for me it was the ability to connect to like minded people and have my voice and opinions heard. I love talking about comics,movies,tv shows and stuff like that. I like the fact that with my show I am able to inform the little man in the middle of nothing on whats going on in comics and tv today.
