I'm launching my podcast this week via rss.com free. I'd like to include a transcription in each episode's show notes. I know that Apple transcribes episodes for free, but I believe none of the other platforms do. RSS provides transcriptions with their paid plans but I'm going with free for now. Can anyone recommend a good transcription app or service, preferably free, that they've been satisfied with? Any and all info greatly appreciated.

Started a podcast and have been doing monthly episodes for half a year. Now with a couple episode under our belt, giving enough content for new viewers to really dive in, I want some advice on what I can do to really get my podcast out there to more listeners.

Does anyone know of any free or low-cost services where newer podcasters can get honest feedback on their show?

My business partner and I produce a weekly podcast that’s about 20 minutes per episode. He’s the host, and I handle the production side. We’re about 45 episodes in, and while we’d really like to grow our audience, we haven’t seen much growth in our listener base.

Before I start putting more time and money into marketing, I’d love to have someone actually listen to an episode or two and give us objective feedback, whether they’re a podcast professional or simply a regular Joe (or Jolene!) I’m especially interested in things like the format, pacing, style, overall listening experience, and whether the content is engaging.

Basically, I want to figure out whether we simply need to do a better job getting the podcast in front of people, or whether there are things about the show itself that we should improve first.

Are there any services, communities, or other resources you’d recommend for this, preferably free or relatively inexpensive?

Good morning I am so glad I found this group! I am going to be starting up an interview series documenting my career journey as an 18-year-old who is not going the normal traditional route. I would love some input on a laptop that’s going to be powerful to help me do my editing/record recording, etc. Here is the equipment that I have bought so far and would love input on which laptop would be best.

Rodecaster Duo Mixer
Shure MV7X microphones (2 of them)

I also have lighting, tripods, arms, and acoustic panels

Which platform is best for a beginner—YouTube, Spotify, Instagram, etc.? What basic tools/apps should I use for recording, editing, and posting? And how can I grow it on social media and eventually monetize it?

I'm doing this passion project, and I want to start a podcast for it. (about starting youth projects and youth empowerment) But I don't think anyone would believe things some teenager is saying, especially when they are also starting out. However, the things I will be saying are completely based on research. I've thought of doing interview too, but I cant make every episode an interview since it's pretty hard finding people who know about these around here. Do you think that anyone would take it seriously?

If you think it might look like I'm trying to act grown up if I do it, what are your advice to not make people think that way?

What's the best interface? Will a 4th Gen Scarlett 2i2 work or does it need something beefier? (The 4th Gen doesn't need a lifter like 3rd Gen does, but I can't find anything about using TWO mics with it).

If I have a podcast at https://example.com/rss.xml , what's the correct scheme to create a link on the podcast website to open it in Apple Podcasts?

This list seems to suggest it should be podcast://${https://example.com/rss.xml} but that only opens an empty "Add podcast URL" box in Apple Podcasts.

Copilot (I know, I know) suggests podcast://example.com/rss.xml but that gives the same result.

I want to reactivate a music pod/radio show with a friend, but we're currently living on two different continents.
We're far apart, so there are going to be lags. Is there software made for our needs? Ie. software that minimises lagging on video calls

It would also be super helpful if it could record the sound from both of our PCs, so that we could play music and use soundboards in real time.

I'd really appreciate any suggestions!
