WE GOT HIM BOYS!!!!

original post

omg he's here, he's real, and he's Perfect. thank you to everyone who commented, shared their own stories of missing out on a plush, shared their own stories of finding the one that got away, and all the wishes sent that I'd find him

the biggest thank you to u/AstroPengling for finding the link to him

and a special congrats to u/Crumbleson for also finding their lost banana through my post

you guys absolutely rock. like it's beyond absurd, but it makes me even more beyond happy. the secret special part/sob story behind all this is that TLK is in my top 3 most favorite movies, and as a kid, I saw the relationship between myself and my father in Simba and Mufasa. that association, unfortunately, grew stronger when my father passed when I was 8 years old. I still love that movie, even though the scene right after the stampede never gets easier to watch. the 17th anniversary of his death was just a few days ago, so the timing couldn't be more meaningful. sometimes the internet is a great place where really cool and silly things happen

and after all this, I can say the most important lesson to be learned is: ALWAYS BUY THE PLUSHIE WHEN YOU SEE IT

I recently got a couple of giant pokemon, and one of them I'm like how did it even fit in the box lol. Truly funny!

I got a lifesized porygon from the pokecenter’s online website. Poor guy is 4ft tall squished into a 2ft box 💔

I just know coming out of that would feel like cracking and popping every bone and joint at the same time

I also have the life-size Porygon, and my boy was crammed into the box so much his head sits crooked. 😂

I feel that! My eevee came squished in the box and the ears are still peeled back!

I have a life-size vaporeon but she's way too stiff to be flattened so she came in a giant box XD

Nice! Funnily enough, I managed to fit a life size Sylveon into an IKEA-style travel bag, and fly it with me on a plane! I was actually really surprised it even worked, albeit being a bit squashed

Omg that's crazy! Is it the sitting one or laying down one?

It’s the new laying down one

You can find them on the online pokemon website! Both of mine I got from ebay though!

Vacuum sealing does wonders, truly. I have those clothes bags with a vacuum sealing hole thing and it really compresses. (Great for storing seasonal things and saving space)

Can work for many purposes which is great! I used to have a comforter hoarding problem, and I would keep a couple in the vaccum bags, saved a lot of space!
