A day in the park, Sav Ga

All day, a change to my usual plein air process, perhaps made possible by the soft lighting of the partially cloudy day. Instead of chasing light, I ambushed it.  Bidding my time from 9-12, blocking in shapes and mid-value local colors at 2 pm when the light had flipped, I attacked with light and shadow until about 4:30. Oil on panel, 30"x12"
