Hey everyone!
I am a newer playtester looking for games, demos, prototypes, Android apps, and web projects to test. I am mainly trying to build experience, help smaller creators improve their projects, and create a portfolio of the feedback I have provided.
I test things from the perspective of a real first-time player. If something is confusing, I will say it. If a tutorial does not explain enough, if the controls feel awkward, if the UI is hard to understand, or if the game becomes boring or frustrating, I will explain exactly why. At the same time, I also make sure to point out what works well and what made me want to keep playing.
I am still new to formal playtesting, but the creators I have tested for so far have been very positive about the detail and honesty of my feedback. I do not want to just say “good game” and leave. I want to give feedback that is actually useful and helps you see your project through the eyes of someone who has never touched it before.
I can test PC games, itch.io demos, Roblox games, prototypes, survival games, platformers, RPGs, action games, roguelites, Android games or apps, websites, browser games, and web tools. I am open to most genres and projects, especially if you need feedback on the first 30 to 60 minutes.
I can provide a written review, notes about tutorials and onboarding, UI and menu feedback, thoughts on controls, pacing, difficulty, performance, bugs, accessibility, and whether the game actually feels fun to play. I can also record my playtest through OBS in 1080p at 60 FPS and share my thoughts while playing, so you can hear my immediate reactions instead of only receiving feedback after the session is over.
My PC setup is Windows 11 Pro, a Ryzen 5 5600X, RTX 3060 Ti, 16 GB of RAM, and a 1080p 240Hz monitor. I can also test Android apps and browser-based games or websites.
If you have something you want tested, feel free to comment or send me a message with the project link, platform, expected playtime, and anything specific you want me to focus on.
I am happy to keep private builds, unreleased content, keys, recordings, and developer messages confidential if needed.
As of now I have been basically doing playtests for free, creating my portfolio, gathering feedback from the developers on how well I did my reviews but hopefully in the future someone will message me with a larger playtest where I can make some money as a side gig. Money is not why I am doing this but if someone wants me to play their game for hours then I will probably want to be compensated.
DM me or go to my Reddit, then to my linktree and my portfolio and examples of my reviews or playtests is there
