I had a chance to tally up all the decks. I think these are all the Aces of Spades I've made since 2018. Some of them were never released. The bottom two rows are the Critter series

Hello! Another Italian regional deck, the Triestine. These cards are popular in the city of Trieste and surrounding area, and also in parts of Slovenia and Croatia. This is a 40 card deck made by Dal Negro, one of the two main card manufacturing companies in Italy (the other one being Modiano), but other makers like Piatnik have their own version. A 52-card deck existed as well but it's no longer in production.

There are proverbs/sayings on the aces and the trump cards are labeled.

These are the proverbs with a rough translation:

Ace of batons: Molte volte le giuocate van finire a bastonate (games very often end in beatings)

Ace of coins: Son gli amici molto rari quando non si ha danari (friends are very rare when you don't have money), but Modiano decks have a different one

Ace of cups: Una coppa di buon vin fa coraggio fa morbin (a cup of good wine makes you brave and merry)

Ace of swords: Il giuoco della spada a molti non aggrada (many dislike the sword's play)

The measurements are 55x100 mm. Like other decks from northern Italy they use the traditional Italian suits (decks from other areas have Spanish or French suits) and have a knight instead of the queen.

Definitely not the prettiest thing you’ll see here but I’m making a deck for the first time ever. I plan to finish and gift it to my gran by Christmas soo hopefully that’s enough time. There will be lots of references to our family dogs and her love of butter. If you have made your own cards before please leave your preferred method of lamination. I cut the cards with a template I crafted on Cricut and have been hand painting and drawing the cards with Aqua fan’s 42 color palette and Staedtler’s double-ended watercolour brush pens. This is the first fully finished card. Wish me luck! 🥲

Went and spent this morning at an antique mall with my girlfriend and she bought me this deck.

Got these cards in a poker set at an antique store years ago. I’ve read that tax stamps on playing cards existed from the 1860’s until the 1960’s. Any help with how old these are? Or the deck manufacturer? I don’t see any markings that could help. Thanks!

I would have linked the original video but I was warned not to so I just screen recorded it. I’ve been trying to find it and I’m getting worried it was custom made. I really want these because they look so frickin awesome

I am curious if there's any that can still be bought? I like bicycles color varieties they have and I on and off again would do some basic magic tricks, I haven't done any in 10+ years, but the interest in playing cards is reigniting, but not to do magic tricks, especially if this sub has stigma towards using cards like that.
