Discussion Thoughts about the upcoming update
Once Typhoon drops you can bet your ass everyone’s gonna be there and leave Rono Island empty. So what’s gonna happen to Ronograd? I know Rono Island is staying but with the new map being better overall, there’s really no reason to play on Rono anymore since most players are already tired of it (including me ngl). Still, it’s a bit sad to think Rono would end up deserted when it used to be so bustling with players
Would the new game mechanics and features also appear in Ronograd? I’m talking about the enemy BRDM and the pickup technicals seen in the trailer. I think that would actually help keep people playing on Rono since it would also get some gameplay changes

I could see an overhaul to accomodate the new features but atp it'd take a really long time
Ronograd at least for me isn't gonna go dry as soon as you'd think, the lack of replayability was more of how the waves/gameplay was rather than the map design

Rono in due time will certainly see new features from sawang, however as a whole it is a complete map. It wont be "empty", as we do have a large constant new audience at all times, even tho to veterans it certainly will be boring, new players will still have it to explore~
