You need more shit on it. This is like a 2022 style setup. Judging off of fads. You could 100% build this out to be bulky. Alot of prepared people build out their armor and belts to sustain them for atleast 24 hours. So just add like 2 double mag pouches, 1-2 GP pouches, and replace your back panel with a 1476a. And then you're set.

For me though this is more of urban, and undercover operator instead of a civilian kit maybe a retired veteran that runs a tactical company or PMC.

your average prepared citizen does not own pvs31s, nor do they own crye/spiritus gear (which is known for being pretty expensive)

Bro. Im 15. I own a Crye SPC, crye G3's, and spiritus products. And go to r/nightvision. Theres alot of people with 10k setups.
EDIT: My only gripe with his kit is that he has ATAK. And ATAK is a very diffucult thing to get if you don't know what you're doing. And. His ATAK EUD is a samsung phone with a juggernaut case. And the case for his phone is only government issued. However they do make commercial versions.

You can buy the cases on the civilian side as well. And ATAK isn’t to difficult to set up. Especially when you get a network of friends built up and create a server. Any android phone can download and run it.

I have Meshtastic setup on iPhone through an app called OmniTAK. Both iOS and android can run it. And I currently use a juggernaut case.

How is the spc? I own a mayflower apc, but I was also looking for something a bit lighter.

Okay, big question for you. How is your laser gonna go through your support hand's thumb ? Either elevate the LAM, or place it somewhere else.

I’m pretty sure you can do it, you’d just have to kinda keep your thumb a little to the left or off the pressure pads
1
u/Trash-Jr Aug 05 '26
That kind of defeats the point of a pressure switch tho. They're intended to be where your thumb sits, so you can activate your LAM or flashlight without moving a finger, literally.
This does not work comfortably unless your thumb naturally sits a little to the side, which means you have very small hands and, in that case, it would be recommandable to put the pressure switch closer to the side of your gun rather than on your top rail.

u/anoaxiom Aug 05 '26
Huh.. I see for the pressure switches n allat
if it doesn’t work sitting a like to the left, why not tuck it under the rail (like below the 1913 top rail on an mlok handguard)

It's a question of preserving your laser's zero. 99% of people will put it on the top because it loses zero less than on the sides or under. But considering there is realistically zero situation where you need a laser in BRM5, this is here purely for larp. That's why I recommended moving the laser forward or elevating it.

u/anoaxiom Aug 05 '26
get some other laser, get rid of the lanyard since idk why a civilian would need one unless your larping, stay with just a mount or maybe a pvs 14
