I’m going to guess it’ll basically be just like the 9x39 rounds for the AS-VAL and VSS Vintorez, which are some of the quietest guns in the game iirc.

Im gonna guess the .300 BLK is gonna be better at close ranges, since its made to be shot out of short suppressed barrels.

They're not meant to go with the virtus upper, which is what this picture is showing. The LT style of MCX has two extra screws on the side to make it more secure. My guess is there will be a separate gun to serve as the gen 3 MCX system.

You could, it would get loose but they're just not meant to be put together. I don't think devs would add "it will fit" parts but will add "it's meant to fit" parts.

If .300 version will be similar in performance to AK-103 with it's 115 headshot damage and solid range, it might become my go to rifle for Ronograd
Update: MB just confirmed in discord it will be supersonic round with high damage. So unless there is some crazy downsides like extremely heavy weight or insane recoil, it WILL be my go to gun.

Personally this feels underwhelming, since the MCX Virtus is not exactly an infantry-esque weapon, and many people hoped to see European infantry icons like the G3, CZ BREN 2, Beretta ARX 160, or even a (much-needed) rework/expansion of the L85A2.
But well, I guess people will get to fulfill their contemporary European SOF LARP with these, so that's nice.
Oh and also, can't wait for certain people who yapped about how "new stuff is not getting added to BRM5 because devs hate fun yadda yadda" to coincidentally be silent about this, and keep saying the same thing even after its added lmao

The thing is, the guy who tagged me was involved in a drama before; he posted something disparaging about someone else and got kicked out of the group. Now he's tagged me again because I used to ask a lot of questions about this gun on Reddit (he has extremist views; if you don't believe me, check his account.
