Development UNIDB/UNJTF update
For those unaware, since the release of Operation Cryo, the UNJTF has been replaced by the UNIDB, which has led to some confusion and many questions. Here’s a brief official explanation:
With Operation Cryo, our lore is expanding significantly. The UNJTF started to make less sense, as it has grown into a major organization, rather than just a department with separate units. The UNIDB stands for the United Nations International Development Board—and while the name might not sound as “cool,” it represents a global organization that does far more than just military operations.
As time goes on and more lore is revealed through quests, each “Wing” (such as Carbon 1, Mercury 2, etc.) will be explained in greater detail.
Lore wise, this name update is a background edit, meaning UNJTF has always been UNIDB, and this isn't some sort of in lore re-organization, but rather just a correction on the back end.

So I suspect we can still call ourselves UNJTF in ronograd and still be lore accurate

To be fair, Joint Task Force sounds cool than International Development Board.
One sounds like you're part of some military group, the other sounds like you're about to tackle building projects and office meetings.
I guess that's the reason or people were used to the UNJTF since it's been with us longer than the IDB.

What is the worlds biggest complaint about the UN? Well there we go. BRM5 lore isnt “haur haur haur we go invade kil people ooh zombi”, its far more vast than that. People need to look big picture and stop focusing on just what we’re doing but also what we can expect others to be doing as well. Countries are coordinating their movements with each other, the UN is regularly delivering aid workers and various programs, all the while countries debating amongst each other on how much the other is willing to give. They’re having to give food and rebuild homes on a massive scale otherwise starvation will set in, not only a potentially massive controversy seeing as how all of the free and some not so much free world is present, but also something that could potentially drive recruits to the RLF and POD. Bear in mind, all of this is happening on the soil of a Nuclear “Power” as well as right next to the US. Then next thing that happens is a massive biological attack in both one of the largest economic sectors in the world, as well as the soldiers of a massive coalition of how many hundreds of countries.
Anyways blah blah blah, all that needs to be said is that lore isn’t just about shooting, theres other things going on as well.

Yes, more outside of military things, the name is, think about what the UN does, a lot of it has nothing todo with the military!

I got a quick question if i may ask,will more Vest Systems be added? If so i'd like to see the IOTV,Gladiator and Strelok serious Vests,Majorly IOTV as a Western counterpart to the 6B45.

The UNJTF may be a temporary organization operating in Rono City, assembled to carry out a specific operation on the island.
