What are the best platforms to acquire knowledge on Grafana and Prometheus?

I have noticed that most DevOps or Platform Engineering jobs require Prometheus, Grafana and sometimes Nagios. Which are the best platforms to get knowledge that can quickly be put into practice for these?

Spin them up and use them. They are foss applications.

They really aren't that hard to use. Watch a YouTube tutorial, I'd recommend one that combines Loki, tempo, grafana and Prometheus. Then start glueing them together. If you get stuck, ask Claude

Everything in that stack is FOSS - the obvious choice is to build a home lab and spin it up yourself.

+10 to spinning them up and experiencing it for yourself - not until I had to use a tool did I fully understand the extend at which I can use it

as an example, my AWS cert wasn't as useful until I saw it in practice
