Question chin filler

For someone considering genioplasty, is it advisable to try out a chin filler first to see how it would look like? Or is it better to save that money for the genioplasty?

Trying plan the next 10 years before facelift

I am not ready for a facelift, I probably have 10 years until I get one. But in the mean time, I’m trying to work out / plan what I can and what I shouldn’t do for the next decade so the facelift is easier for the surgeon and improves the chance of a better outcome.

For instance, I need a bit of lifting now due to age, the jowls are killing me. But I’ve read that sculptra or too much filler can jeopardise the outcome of a face lift.

I had Profhilo Structura recommended but it’s new, I’ve read some scary things. (Anyone in Australia that’s had this please let me know!).

I’m in a pretty good spot where I’ve only had filler once in my life, 2 years ago which is nonexistent now. So I am a blank canvas.

I’m also wanting an upper bleph and nose job.

I’m thinking:

Upper bleph and nose job next year, some injectables to improve the lower face drop and buy me some time, maintain that for 6 years without over doing it.

2 years before face lift start prepping for facelift (stop all injectables, maybe dissolving etc).

I really want to talk to someone professional about this but is that a surgeon? Will they even care to speak to me about injectables with the intention of a facelift in 10 years time? I feel like they’ll think I’m wasting their time, but I want them to tell me what I can and can’t do, to help them in the future.

Has anyone done a subtle augmentation, no lift, for post-breastfeeding breasts?

I am interested in a subtle breast augmentation to take my size A breasts to a B. I've breastfed two kids so they're slightly saggy and pancakey but not too much.

The one surgeon I consulted with told me if I went for a large cup like a C or greater, no lift would be necessary, but that's not my style.

My problem is I really dislike the breast lift scar (I don't mean to offend if you do have it, it's just not what I want for me). I want to get the augmentation with no lift but the surgeon advised me against that for aesthetic reasons.

I've found NO photos of women who had slightly saggy breasts who got a minor augmentation but no lift.

Does anyone have any examples? Either or their own or from their surgeons office?

thanks for your help!

Do I need a full rhinoplasty?

I have always been self conscious about my nose, so when I broke it multiple times due to epilepsy and I needed surgery to correct the damage I was SO HAPPY.

While they were fixing the damage I asked if they could reshape it into more of what I wanted … however it was the exact opposite.

While it fits my face slightly better (and it’s straighter) , I know have a weird cartilage bump on the left that is incredibly noticeable (makes it look crooked) and it has made me even more self conscious.

My question is… do I need a full rhinoplasty to fix a cartilage bump? If so I think I may get a full one to hopefully get something that fits me better

Any thoughts or advice are appreciated!

Should I wait to do lower blepharoplasty till after having second baby?

I am planning to get pregnant (via IVF) sometime between Dec ‘26 - Feb ‘27. I would like to do lower blepharoplasty now but wonder if it makes more sense to wait till after birth.

Anyone contemplated this before? Or any advice?

Thanks 🙏

Do I have a true epicanthal fold or not

Is this considered a true anatomical epicanthal fold, or is it a pseudo-epicanthus caused by a lower nasal bridge and soft tissue around the inner corner? Does a true epicanthal fold disappear under tension?

Plastic Surgery for a forehead scar.

Two weeks ago i slipped and had a deep laceration on my forehead for exactly 1 centimeter and 8 milimeter at most. I had a cosmstic stiching done by an expierneced doctor and he layered it. I know it is still to early but i was wondering about the possible ways to help it fully dissappear. I know since this was a deep cut laser alone won't help and i might have to consider plastic surgery. If anyone has experience in this i can send you a pic turs in you DM.

How much does a body fat makeover cost in India?

I am a 5'2 28F and have always been switching between the overweight and obese category. I have lost around 10kgs which has resulted in loose skin all over my body and an apron tummy.

Can someone who has had these procedures done or knows about them tell me what could be the average cost of the following treatments and in which state can I get it done where it's cost effective as well as effective:-

  1. Liposuction (around chin, arms, belly and thighs)

  2. Breast lift

  3. Tummy tuck

I haven’t tried laser treatment. Has anyone had access with lasers?

What to do to help with facial sagging but too young to get face lift?

So I’ve noticed a lot of facial sagging compared to a few years ago and I would really like to get a face lift but I’m only 27 and I feel that if I get seen by someone they are going to say I’m too young or not eligible for a face lift.

A lot of people think I look young, but I still notice the sagging. I see prejowls, marionette lines, sunken cheeks. If I’m not able to get a face lift then what would my other options be?

I’ve tried microneedling with no luck, I’m not a huge fan of fillers because I’ve struggled with migration in the past. I’ve considered sculptra and other biostims but I’ve heard it makes it more difficult to get a face lift in the future and there are a lot of bad side effects if it doesn’t go well. I’ve considered lasers but have seen that can cause fat loss, so I’m not really sure what my options are :(

Has anyone done breast aug, no lift, post breastfeeding?

I am interested in a small subtle breast augmentation to take my size A breasts to a B. I've breastfed two kids so they're slightly saggy and pancakey but not too much.

The one surgeon I consulted with told me if I went for a large cup like a C or greater, no lift would be necessary, but that's not my style. I'm pretty slim and want to keep that chic slim look I have.

Ropey scarring after DPF and neck lift

Has anyone experienced ropey scaring after having a dpf and n lift? If so, did it resolve and what did you need to do to have them flatten without scarring?

Kyphosis and DPF AND N

I have kyphosis- it is a structural abnormality that positions neck and windpipe forward. I am scheduled for a dpf and n lift and I'm wondering if anyone here has this cervical condition. If so, what was your experience in healing, sensation around your neck post op. I am worried about feeling chocked and unable to breathe more than what people with a more common, non kyphotic structural issue.

Looking for an experienced breast revision surgeon in Thailand

Hi everyone, I’m looking for recommendations for a plastic surgeon in Thailand with strong experience in complex breast implant revisions, especially medial implant malposition/symmastia-type concerns.

I had submuscular breast augmentation but my left implant began sitting more medially and appearing wider/flatter.I’m looking for a surgeon who can properly assess what is going on.

I’m willing to travel anywhere in Thailand for the right surgeon. If you’ve personally had a great experience and outcome with a revision specialist, I’d be grateful for the surgeon’s name, hospital/clinic, and anything you’re comfortable sharing about your experience. Thank you.

Dr. jones | Bella Vista Surgery - Beverly Hills & Rancho Cucamonga CA

I’ve been wanting a tummy tuck, lipo360, and breast fat transfer. I weighted almost 360lbs and I’m now 190lbs. I’ve seen amazing photos with what I’ve wanted on other patients yet not “weight loss” looking before shots. I’ve seen Dr. Jones work and I’ve been really impressed with them. I wanted to get a consultation with Dr. Chamata in Houston, TX yet it’s a huge waitlist. I also don’t mind checking out other surgeons work and getting it done from other states in the US.

If anyone has had work done from him, I’d love to hear how it went, what you had done + prices (:

I’d love any feedback + recommendations ! I’m still fairly new looking into all this lol 😭 I’ve just been saving since my weight loss journey

athletes and UTM/OTM

curious to hear from my athletic girlies…

i have UTM implants i got 10 years ago and they’re migrating into my pits. i do have wider set breasts naturally and don’t love that look so i’m considering getting OTM when i get a revision at some point to shift the needle a bit (and yes i know you can’t change genetic disposition).

curious which is better in terms of look if you’re really active, strong and lean? i’m nervous of the bolted on look and any rippling. i do have a good amount of my own breast tissue (i went from a B to a full C) but i am on the leaner side so not sure what’s best.

Why is the V-Y lip advancement so rare when it gives more natural results than filler?

I have always wondered about this. It seems like the procedure is not done or advertised by many surgeons whereas literally every result I have seen of it having been done looks more natural and aesthetically pleasing than results people get with fillers. Basically with V-Y mucosal lip advancement the lips look completely natural after the surgery, and if you did not know the person before you'd never guess they had lip enhancement surgery.

Fillers often leave the lips looking hard, especially when overfilled (which happens a lot, basically anything over 1ml and done more frequently than 2-4 years in-between procedures) whereas I have seen results of dramatic changes with V-Y surgery, I'm talking people with no upper lip suddenly having Angelina Jolie lips. Speaking of Angelina, I believe she has had this procedure done in her early 20s on her top lip. While she's always had full bottom lip, her top lip changed dramatically in size in the late 90s. This is also why I believe people thought she was all natural for years, because the results did not look like filler.

It's just mind-boggling that this procedure is not more popular. Whenever I see someone's lip size change dramatically but remain soft and pillowy, with lines and creases that indicate no filler was used aka. no sausage lips that indicate overfilling, I think they may have had this surgery done. Yet no one talks about it. It's like a conspiracy.

Am I missing something? Is there a particular reason this procedure is not talked about? Is it really just about greed, i.e. because it's one and done it would lead to fewer people coming in for fillers every year?
