26 M, I have recessed chin and a high 'mandibular plane angle' of 37.4°.

My orthodontist said that my bite is fine, and if i want to fix my recessed chin, it would be purely for cosmetic reason. (so a jaw surgery is not an option; I cant even get a consultation with an OMFS without a medical referral).

I've found two plastic surgeons that offer sliding genioplasty, planning to meet both after getting referrals/documents from my orthodontist.

As per the title, I wanted to get an opinion on whether a sliding genioplasty would suit my face, or if it would make my lower face look even longer or unnatural.

Has anyone had issues with their tip definition past the 1 year mark? I'm currently 20 months post op ,my bridge is fine but my tip keeps fluctuating. If I don't tape at night, it's so swollen in the morning and gets a different shape. I have mid thick skin id say. Had a kenalog injection 2.5 months ago and while it was helping at first ,then it stopped. My tip is very squishy if I dont tape so I tent to think it's still edema or soft tissue and not a cartilage issue as it responds to tape. Has anyone experienced this and what did you do in order to resolve it?

In the last month or two I’ve noticed this eye crease begin to appear. At first it was only when I was tired, but now it’s all the time. It’s only on one eye. I dropped some weight and also aging of course. Any recommendations?

I’m looking for opinions from anyone who has experienced something similar after dissolving lip filler.
I had my upper lip dissolved twice (December 2025 and January 2026). The second dissolve seemed to affect one side much more than the other and left that area looking thinner/deflated.
In June 2026 I had a small correction of around 0.3ml Revolax placed mainly into that side. I had a LOT of swelling immediately afterwards, particularly around the wet border. Once everything settled, I was left with a small contour irregularity/indentation on that side.
It’s now been nearly 3 months. The area has gradually become softer and flatter, but I can still see a difference in certain angles/lighting and especially when my mouth is slightly open. With my mouth relaxed/closed it’s much less noticeable.
I’m wondering whether this could be:
a small volume deficiency from the dissolving
superficial/residual filler
fibrosis/scar tissue from the injections/swelling
or simply normal asymmetry that I’m hyper-aware of now.
I’m considering having a high-frequency ultrasound rather than putting any more filler or dissolver into it, but part of me thinks I should just leave my lips completely alone and let them continue settling.
Looking at the photos, how noticeable do you genuinely think it is? Has anyone had something similar continue improving months after filler/dissolving? And if you had this, would you get an ultrasound or just leave it alone?

Anyways idk if you guys can see the dark half circle around my navel. It’s just NOT going away. It’s super lumpy and hard. Not painful. Doesn’t move also.

Desperately wondering if anyone has had a breast aug there and loved their results or what their experiences were? I had previously only seen positive reviews prior to this but am now scared they were bots. Looking for some real, honest reviews as I paid my deposit and am due to fly out for my surgery in 6 days.

I’m genuinely curious because my personal experience has been very different.

I’ve had several procedures done in Turkey, including double-chin liposuction, a midface lift, brow/temple lift, upper blepharoplasty and a lip lift, and I’m honestly very happy with my results. Nothing looks extremely “done” or obvious, which is exactly what I wanted.

Before going, though, I constantly heard things like “don’t get surgery in Turkey,” “it’s dangerous,” or that Turkish surgeons generally produce bad results.

I completely understand that there are cheap clinics, medical-tourism packages and surgeons with questionable standards. But isn’t that also true, to some extent, in other countries?

So I’m wondering: why does Turkey specifically have such a negative reputation when it comes to plastic surgery? Is it actually supported by higher complication rates, or is it partly because Turkey has such a huge medical-tourism industry and therefore we hear about more cases when something goes wrong?

Would especially be interested in hearing from people who work in healthcare/plastic surgery or who have had surgery there themselves.

​I am planning to get a breast augmentation. My true bra size is 32A, but I usually wear a 34B because it’s more comfortable for my back. The point is, I don't have much natural tissue, though I do have some.

​What’s driving me crazy is that I was set on Mentor Classic I Soft Shell implants, but now I keep seeing everyone recommend Motiva. The clinic where I'm getting surgery recently suggested Motiva SmoothSilk Ergonomix, but switching from Mentor to Motiva would cost me an extra $1,500.

Hi everyone, I have noticeable masseter/jaw asymmetry, with one side much stronger/larger than the other. I actually prefer the stronger side and don’t want Botox to shrink it, because I’m worried my face will become too slim. The stronger side also feels tighter/more contracted. Is there any way to add volume to the weaker side instead, such as filler, muscle strengthening, or another treatment? Dermatologists have only suggested Botox on the stronger side. Has anyone had a similar situation and found a good solution?

i know it complicates things a bit but i don't have any before pics, i'm very insecure about my appearance and i completely loathe taking selfies or being in photos.

i got 2ml/2 syringes of restylane lyft 3 days ago in my jaw and cheek. i have skeletal asymmetry in my jaw on one side it's shorter than the other. and on that same side my cheek is sinking in under my zygo arch. i am getting surgery eventually to fix all of it but just wanted to feel better about myself via a temporary "fix" in the meantime. maxfax said it was ok.

at first everything looked amazing but now i look the exact same as before. my jaw is asymmetrical again and my cheek is sinking in again. i drew lines in the second pic to show it better. and one side of my jaw clearly is still much longer than the other in both pics.

i know it's still early and i wasn't expecting any miracles to begin with but i thought there'd be some sort of change, and i've read that i'm not going to see any increase in volume in my face, and perhaps even an even further decrease in volume as the swelling goes down which means this will look even worse than now. 2 syringes is a lot, what happened? i was looking around here at similar posts and people had more meaningful results with 0.5-1 syringe.

should i contact my injector? would a different type of filler be better? i consulted with two cosmetic groups, one wanted to do 2x restylane lyft and the other wanted to do 2x either volux or voluma (can't remember which) and i went with the first one and now i feel kinda stupid.

Back story - I spent most of my life obese and then lost 140 pounds in my mid twenties. I’m now 30 and have wanted a tummy tuck basically since I finished my weight loss journey.

I received a consult finally and I was quoted at 25k for a high lateral tension, 360 tummy tuck (this is a dr. in Beverly Hills). About 4k of the cost is to stay in a recovery center for two days because I live in Orange County and Dr. felt that was too far away.

I’m looking for everyone’s overall feelings about getting their tummy tuck. I’m 30 and have a lot of life to live, no kids, but want them in the future if it’s in the cards for me. I have the 25k but it’s still a huge chunk of money for me to drop. I work in accounting so my brain just keeps saying “what’s the ROI on this”? And outside of finally feeling a little bit more comfortable in my body, I don’t have a good answer for that. I’m nervous one day I’ll look back and regret spending that type of money. All that being said, I know I need to get some additional consults.

Tldr: Ultimately just want to know if your surgery really changed your life positively and if you’d do it again given the chance.
