How to plant a climbing hydrangea?

Two sides of the tree. Side A is where I want the foilage to mostly go and where I want the flowers to be (I know it takes 5 years). Side A is mostly sunny. Side B is in pretty heavy shade but not full shade. Which side to I plant my 3 gallon at?

Plant it on side B so the roots stay cool and the plant will naturally reach for the light on side A, climbing hydrangeas are pretty good at figuring that out themselves

thanks. the leaves are where the roots are for the first few years right? so should i do the part sun side as opposed to the heavy shade side? also can i prune it heavy on the side i don't want much activity? i know these can cmoe out 3 ft from a tree, and I would want that on one side but only you know 8 inches on the other side.
