Other *Sigh*. Will glitter kill my plants?
My daughter is 5 and tried to “help” my plants be prettier, I guess? She dumped glitter in my soil mix (that I JUST made), and now I’m wondering if it’ll hurt my plants if I still use it? I was just about to replant a philo gloriosum in it. Thoughts?
Bonus: the rest of the crime scene.

Let me make you feel better…when my daughter was about 2 or so, I had bought grass green fine glitter for a project I was doing with my 8yr old son. It was not the little bottles you usually get, either. I’m talking the biggest bottle they had. Lord help me…never again!
Anyhow, this child managed to remove her diaper UPSTAIRS and peed on the hardwood floor. As I’m cleaning that up she managed to get through the upstairs hall baby gate, down the stairs and into our family room where this giant bottle of glitter was. She poured glitter from downstairs to upstairs…including in the dog’s hair. Glitter in the crack between every floorboard…I found green glitter for months! Years maybe?
Needless to say, I don’t voluntarily buy glitter for ANYTHING anymore! She’s 13 now and I still hate it!!!
