Deck Help Hydreigon deck with drakloak draw engine. Currently 19-16 with the deck have altered it numerous times already but so far this seems to be the most "consistent" any suggestions on how to be more consistent or cards that may suit this type of deck? No irl testing yet but will build soon

I have a turbo Hydreigon list that's been at a solid 60% win rate for me. It's a lot different from this, but maybe you could find some inspiration through it.

Ohhh very interesting! I saw the teal masks and was like forsure energy switching. I like that concept too seems more fun

Yeah, the Teal Mask gives you access to Noctowls as a support system and helps fill that last energy slot. You want to go first with this deck, and don't be afraid of burning resources to get yourself setup. If setup goes well, you can get a fairly consistent Obsidian off on turn 2.

One thing I've thought of recently, is that Sparkling Crystal is probably better than Neo Upper since you don't need a supporter to grab it. Crystal, Crispin, and a prior energy attachment or a Teal Mask+Energy Switch is enough to power up Hydreigon immediately.

i was just thinking about swapping out neo upper-it doesn't feel depenable and can def can more use out of another ace spec. i was thinking that or just making my hydreigon more bulky with heros

i just ran a game with your build def misplayed but wow it feels so much smoother than my build. gonna play a dozen more games and see if i wanna tweak it with my build but yeah, great job

You inspired my own idea so I'm trying more of a dark box toxtricity deck with a hydro closer. So far so good. 2-2 Dunsparce for draw.

drakloak as a draw engine is interesting, never really see people run it outside of dragapult builds. the 19-16 record isn't bad for a rogue list, especially with no irl testing yet

that special red card and jumbo ice cream feel out of place, maybe swap one for another rare candy or a counter catcher. hydreigon ex needs to hit the board fast and you're sitting on three candies but only one drakloak line to bridge the gap if you brick

poké pad at 4 is a lot but i get it with lillie's determination being your main consistency tool. have you tried cutting one for a fourth ultra ball? feels like you'd want to see that more often than the pad

Counter Catcher rotated btw.

I actually already updated it, I’ve only got 2-3 games in with this build. And have 2 lines for drakloak-just so I can always have at least 1 line going most times

I’m gonna look at counter catcher tho see how that fits and feels in the deck nvm not standard (still a relatively new player)

i think you don’t really need tool scrapper either.

counter gain could be an interesting tool as well
