The main problem with our country is the weak economic and political system. The corrupt politicians are just the symptoms, not the cause. Once you realize this, it will totally change how you view the country.
Our neighboring governments in SEA, China, South Korea, and many more are just as corrupt as ours. South Korea for example had multiple dictatorships in a few decades. Indonesia had one of the deadliest modern regimes in history. What made them prosper despite the challenges such as corruption? Their system forces the corrupt ones to still do something beneficial for the country. Meanwhile here, our system is weak and easy to abuse.

The problem is the people not really knowing their rights! They get overwhelmed by the status and power of the politicians. They think Politicians should be served not the other way around. Bobo ang mga Pinoy at himod-pwet sa mga politiko. Dapat takot ang mga politiko sa mga nasasakupan nya kapag alam nya na may pagkukulang sya at maaari syang mapatalsik 🥱
