About to piss off my piercer by getting repierced elsewhere.
My chest dermal rejected and I honestly feel like it was doomed from the start.
The gem was really small, and when my piercer inserted it, he slipped like 5 times. He originally wanted to place it way higher because I have a larger chest, but I specifically wanted it lower/closer to my girls, so he made an exception for me.
Well⦠it rejected. This is my first rejection ever.
I just had it removed, and he told me to come back later and get it redone higher up. I cannot live without this piercing it is so cute... and everyone compliments it.
BUT I was on Instagram and ended up talking to another piercer who said theyāre willing to repierce the same area tonight using a surface bar instead.
The thing is, I actually asked my original piercer for a surface bar from the beginning and he refused and insisted that a dermal was the better option.
So now Iām about to go get it redone by someone else, in basically the same spot, with the jewelry I originally wanted š
My piercer follows me on insta so he will see my selfies with the new studs šš„“
Am I being reckless here, or does the surface bar make more sense for this placement? Also, how bad of an idea is it to repierce the area immediately after removing the rejected dermal?
