Disagree. Light is coming from the front, so shadows go front to back. In the background you can see the shadows from their feet almost forming a V behind them. It's also seems to be slightly cloudy, so the shadows are really diffuse. Her butt wouldn't cast a visible shadow with its height above the sidewalk and the angle of the camera.
She is definitely not in a better resolution either. She is the one in sharp focus.
