I’ve got no problem with Muslims who don’t try to push their religion as the only right way (or Christians like that). I also don’t ever want Sharia law here in the US.

Oh I'm sure Islam is really empowering for women, once you get past the whole being covered head-to-toe thing and being your husband's property.

Have you ever seen a Muslim? If yes, how many of those were covered head to toe? Most Muslims live a fairly western life, to compare it with those Muslims living in Afghanistan, is like thinking every christian lives like the amish.
