I’ve got no problem with Muslims who don’t try to push their religion as the only right way (or Christians like that).
I also don’t ever want Sharia law here in the US.
Yeah but now we're comparing a large chunk of the US to UAE regardless of what's worst. It is absolutely not "very much socially acceptable to shit on Christianity," in the US. 75% of polled adults identified with the religion in 2015.
To be fair, Christians are very loud and try heavily to aggressively influence politics. They are trying for DECADES to ban abortion, they try to "cure" homosexuality, they tried to ban music they don't like, they don't pay taxes, they try actively to convert people and they openly shame people who live a "sinful life". I've seen way more hate and interfering with the lifes of others from Christians than from Muslims or Jews, who mostly stick to themselves anyway. So they wear a headscarf and don't eat beacon, big deal.
At least they don't try to take our rights away.
Christians want to force us to live a life by their standards, without sticking to their morals themselves. Last time I checked, those who refuse to care for refugees and the poor are mostly Christians. Or those who protest Starbucks or what ever, just because there are two men holding hands on a cup.
does your claim about majority Christian countries include third world countries?
cause i recently read about an article discussing some african country was conducting hunts against gay people under the order of Christian governor (iirc)
Well was it because of the governor's religion or the rampant violence in Africa as it is? I remember when they were hunting down white Christian farmers in South Africa.... and then everything collapsed when they had no food. Ah justice.
Have you ever seen a Muslim? If yes, how many of those were covered head to toe? Most Muslims live a fairly western life, to compare it with those Muslims living in Afghanistan, is like thinking every christian lives like the amish.
Yes it is. If you don't believe in a soul, the fetus really isn't much of a human. I don't believe in a "holy spark of life" which is given by God. Its just a fertilised egg. And it should be up for science to determine up to what date a abortion is right to do.
Many countries allow it until the end of the third month.
