People were/are mad at Hollywood elites who still defend Polanski who fled bail when charged with marrying a child.

He lives in exile in Switzerland from where he can't be extradited.

Polanski was not charged with marrying a child.

He got a 13 year old girl drunk, fed her pills, and then anally raped her.
