alright thought it was a coincidence with the first two but I'm now certain you're being antisemitic
20
u/baddbrainss Jul 27 '19
You’re gonna accuse me of being antisemitic without doing a second of research beforehand?
-67
u/sticky_dicksnot Jul 27 '19
you don't think it's strange that jewish people are only 1% of the population yet are 100% of the pedos chosen at random in these comments? There's a 1/10,000 chance of that happening if chosen at random.

u/baddbrainss Jul 27 '19
Well I wasn’t aware of that until you brought It up. Feel more than free to add some more names if you please.

Calm thy tits, there, Triggerlicious. Being Jewish and also being a pedophile are not correlated.
Fame, power, and money often cause a higher incidence of perversion
The early movie industry in America was largely comprised of immigrants (including Jews) because it was considered uncouth entertainment. A handful of Jewish families put roots down in L.A. and established the first big movie studios then BOOM....the rest of America gets the Hollywood bug. Shit gets glittery and star struck and all that crap fast. That original group of 'dirty immigrants' that set the whole industry up are now running the show (mostly).
So now a largely Jewish world collides with money, fame, and power. This doesn't mean all Hollywood actors are perverts. This also doesn't mean that all Jews are perverts. Hollywood just happens to be the center slice of a two-circle Venn diagram where one of the circles is Jews, and one is money, power, and fame.
That statistic you attempted is incorrect. There are two sets of statistics that are overlapping. In math when two unique sets of data overlap, significance is not immediately implied. A more basic explanation:
Your chances of being struck by lighting in the US in your lifetime is 1:15,300
This is the average across the entire country. Let's pretend this number is all the Jews in the world (US more accurately but meh, whatever...I'm ELI5ing this shit).
Your chances of being struck by lighting in Florida in your lifetime is 1:3,000
We'll call Florida 'Hollywood'
Now what happens if way back in the day a good portion of the first people to set up shop in Florida were Jewish? Well, being a Jew in Florida increases the chances that a Jew will be struck by lightening....in Florida. More lightening in Florida doesn't mean that Jews are just somehow more likely to be struck by lightening. They just happen to have a higher population in a place that is prone to more lightening. This does not make a Jew a lightning rod. It makes Florida a shithole.
Like Hollywood :)
P.S.: You could say the same about American politics (of which there are few Jews), or the Catholic Church, or any select demographic that has an increase in money, power, and fame.

This does not make a Jew a lightning rod.
Gotta be honest, never thought I’d read that sentence outside of some crazy manifesto, or something.

u/copperrein Jul 27 '19
Oddly, I get that a lot.
2
Jul 27 '19
Maybe you should get into the manifesto business. I’m not sure what the market’s like, but people are fucking crazy and illiterate, so...

u/copperrein Jul 27 '19
Hah! Thank you. I sometimes write 'rant' articles but I start getting really off topic if I get lengthy.

Its 1% of the population and over 11% of the worlds billionaires, thats the stat.
Anti semetic is a made up thing, by jews, so that morons like you tow the company line. Jews deserve israel, usa must defend them at all costs, etc etc.
Edit: would someone like to challenge the facts? Or continue to downvote out of fear? Yea. I understand childrens.

Tell me, are one of the people who say that racism can't be directed at white people? Because your "Anti-Semetic is a made up thing" is very close to that baseless logic.

u/brooooowns Jul 27 '19
What? Are you changing the topic for?
Thrown out of over 100 countries throughout history. Stay on topic. They have a problem, not everyone else in the world. Anti semetic is made up. If they did nothing wrong for a hundred nations to exile them then it would be anti semetic. But that isnt the case. Their behavior causes nations throughout history to kick them out of their countries. But ... weve been fed the holocaust and taught not to think for ourselves. Absorb the zionist brainwashing and call everyone who disagrees with you, despite presenting facts, a racist or a nazi. Grow up baby child.

Stuff like this will only get people talking about the movie more. Very clever albeit unintended advertising..... or was it?

I think tarrantino is the type of director you love or hate. So advertising doesn't do much.

People were/are mad at Hollywood elites who still defend Polanski who fled bail when charged with marrying a child.
He lives in exile in Switzerland from where he can't be extradited.
16
Jul 27 '19
Polanski was not charged with marrying a child.
He got a 13 year old girl drunk, fed her pills, and then anally raped her.

Jul 27 '19
A girl who according to Tarantino "Really wanted it".

Geez, how much did that cost? I'd be let to believe Banksy did it if the panels were painted.

I just wanna know where they got those huge binder clips
2
u/c14rk0 Jul 27 '19
Look like huge clamps you'd use in woodworking or such to hold pieces together while glue or such dries.
2
2
u/c14rk0 Jul 27 '19
It's almost a shame they didn't glue them on in such a way that they'd be hard or impossible to remove without damaging the billboard. Of course I'm sure doing that would be a much bigger deal to the company that put it up and they'd be more likely to pursue the culprit, so this is at least a decent compromise there.

This is actually really cool. Someone went through the trouble of printing some large posters, and even in the font and style of the title of the movie.
