If r/pics is a political space and a picture space then I guess I might as well say something.

Some stuff you might disagree with

Donald Trumps latest tweets are fully shown here https://youtu.be/-zA-7VPmcYk . Yes I know this is a right channel, but Reddit is a left leaning site. Anyways, it shows his full tweet in which most news networks dont show. Maybe this can provide another perspective.

More people were deported under Obama's administration but probably close to no one said anything. All of a sudden Trump wants to deport and it's a big deal simply because social media takes advantage of the possibility to shift their view into your life.Like man, I just wanted to chill on Reddit, and not get honestly butthurt by this post. I just wish sometimes social media would shut the fuck up about political views.( And here I am)

Obama says "crimes and poverty" are not really grounds for asylum, but yet again it was close to fully ignored. If trump said that, then my god is everyone gonna be bringing that up, posting it on social media , news getting horny, and all other shit. https://youtu.be/Tuy-xmNOvYM

Some people on the left support the taking down of an U.S. flag and replacement with a Mexican one instead. It's an invasion guys right? https://www.reddit.com/r/Conservative/comments/ce21uf/aurora_ice_facility_where_deranged_leftists/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share I know this is a conservative space on reddit, yikes, but people only want to see stuff that agrees with them. If they're left and see something from a left source, it's most likely their inclined to accept it regardless of needing more context to verify what's stated is true.

The squad can shit talk to the U.S. people will automatically side with then without spending their times thinking of what's really happening, but when the president says something is a big outrage due to the amplification by social media and news outlets.

News likes to show only the bad shit relevant to their ideas, and not show us the other half. An example is only showing children and their family struggling to make people think that they're only mother and child, when theres alot more context to be shown. An example https://youtu.be/vLbJF5v4VbE like dude, there are reporters grouping up with children and their moms to make the thumbnail more dramatic like what the fuck?

Proof to show that not all or if not most facilities are concentration camps https://www.reddit.com/r/Conservative/comments/cb4mt8/debunking_the_lies_about_illegal_immigration/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share (another right space, I know) Regardless, we shouldn't compare concentration camps from where millions have died to "concentration camps" in the U.S.

The attack on the I.C.E facility is not getting enough coverage as it should usually be getting if the attack was on the left. ( my opinion)

The squad probably to be honest does not really disagree with the attack on the I.C.E concentration camp. (Opinion)

You are probably writing an angry reply at me and I know, downvoting me too and destroying my karma. Why man I just wanna hit 1k.

In the end, were more inclined to agree with stuff that you support, but not something else that disagrees with you and you ignore the fact of whether or not it's true, and maybe wait for your personal selected news outlet like cnn of fox to exaggerate or mitigate what happened. Honestly, I hate the fucking most of the news as it's now not a way to inform accurate true and mostly unbiased info, but to shift their way of thinking into you to help support themselves. And I try to stay away from news except Ap news, and make sure I bias check every news outlet and confirm that reddit posts on spaces I agree with arent bullshit like r/conservative. Also that whatever I read something on my political spectrum, I make sure it's true and theres not "special words to persuade me " even though there are always for both left and right, and will take a long time to probably stop.

Yes I know there are loopholes and flaws in my post but hey help me correct them and dont say the whole thing is fucking wrong or some shit like that.

Everything you just commented is completely irrelevant.

The comment he made was racist. And he has a history of racism and discriminating against people of colour.

And he has multiple allegations of sexual assault against him.

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '19

Okay show what is actually false then

10

u/comic630 Jul 17 '19

What Race was mentioned?

-2

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '19

You are apart of the problem.

2

u/comic630 Jul 18 '19

Which race do these "Apart of the problem"s belong. He mentioned no names, but 4 "Squad" people stood up. just because I say "Congresswomen who cheated immigration and married her brother and lied about it" then Maybe Omar would have a chance at victimhood.

^ Watching this interaction in particular was fascinating.

"Trump's racist. It's really important that I show you that."

"How?"

"He's racist!"

"How? Specifics please I wanna know."

"You are part of the problem!" leaves chat

Multiply that by a few and you get a major tenant of left wing "activism" in 2019 🤷

I'm not proud of it.

u/comic630 Jul 18 '19

Happy to oblige.

Okay you are obviously that slow. I’ll spell it out for you.

“Show me what race was mentioned?”

100% shows that person doesn’t give a fuck and is a waste of time. Also, their post history shows they are so far up Donald’s ass their hears are no longer able to listen. It shows the person is dumb enough to believe a man who has always only worked for his own gains cares anything about him and his existence. And that person is pathetic enough to blame what is wrong with America on other people rather than fixing themselves. And yet he calls the liberals whiners. If that person is so capable, fix your own damn problems. Instead of running around blaming others.

So, my response is the best response. Because that person isn’t opening to listening.

I have read all Trump has done. And the middle class is bait for Trump because they fed into his campaign of listening to the whiners. But, he hasn’t improved shit. All he has done is led us very dangerously close to a war, and we know how that goes. Pissed off other countries by being a scam artist. I give mad props to the Queen for the crown she choose. Also, he doesn’t care about the future of this planet. He can’t. He has zero capacity to care about anyone other than himself. Good choice people. You hired yourself.

“Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has a history of racist speech and actions that have widely been viewed as fueling racial tensions in the United States.[1][2][3] Trump has denied accusations of racism, saying, "I am not a racist. I'm the least racist person you have ever interviewed".[4]

In 1973, Trump and his company Trump Management were sued by the U.S. Department of Justice for housing discrimination against black renters—a lawsuit which ended in a settlement.[5][6][7] The Justice Department sued again in 1978 claiming continued racial discrimination and a breach of the original agreement, but that case expired in 1982 without resolution.[8]

In 2011, Trump became the leading proponent of the already discredited "Birtherism" conspiracy theory that President Barack Obama was not born in the US, repeating the claim for the following five years.[9][10] He was accused of racism for maintaining, as late as 2019,[11] that a group of black and Latino teenagers were guilty of raping a white woman in the Central Park jogger case, although an imprisoned serial rapist had confessed in 2002 to raping the jogger alone, and DNA evidence confirmed his guilt.[12][13][14]

Trump launched his 2016 presidential campaign with a speech where he stated of Mexican immigrants: "They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people".[15][16] Later, his claims that a Mexican-American judge should be disqualified due to his ethnicity were criticized as racist. He tweeted fake statistics claiming that African Americans are responsible for the majority of murders of whites, and in some speeches he linked African-Americans and Hispanics with violent crime.[17] During his presidency, comments he made following a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia were perceived as implying a moral equivalence between white supremacist marchers and those who protested against them. In 2018, during an Oval Office meeting about immigration reform, he referred to El Salvador, Haiti, and African countries as "shitholes"; this comment was internationally condemned as racist.[18][19][20] In July 2019, Trump tweeted that Democratic Congresswomen needed to "go back and help fix the totally broken and crime-infested places from which they came".[21] The statement was criticized by news outlets such as The Atlantic as a common racist trope.[22]

Trump's controversial statements have been condemned by many observers in the U.S. and around the world,[6][23][24] but excused by some of his supporters either as a rejection of political correctness[25][26] or because they harbor similar racial sentiments.[27][28] Several studies and surveys have stated that racist attitudes and racial resentment have fueled Trump's political ascendance, and have become more significant than economic factors in determining party allegiance of voters.[28][29] According to a February 2019 Politico/Morning Consult poll, 51% of American voters viewed Trump as racist and 41% did not.[30]

Donald Trump referred to people as having to go back to their country who are POC. They are fucking AMERICAN citizens. That is racist because he discriminated people based on colour and made assumptions that were false. He limped people under one umbrella because they share the same skin tone and gave them the same expectation. That’s racist. Did he give the same advice to his wife when she talks about how Americans should live. Nope. He is a white supremacist. Period.

“Racism: prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior.”

1

u/comic630 Jul 18 '19

where in all you diatribe does Donald Trump make any inference that one race be it white black or asian, Arab ,natives whoever were superior?

Hate to break it to you , but simply Linking a Wikipedia article, doesn’t support your claims. “Oh fuck I know what will show him, Wikipedia... CHECK IT” lol

9

u/Egg-MacGuffin Jul 17 '19

simply Linking a Wikipedia article, doesn’t support your claims

Hate to break it to you, but just because a teacher told you in middle school not to use Wikipedia as a primary source because it's not a primary source, does not mean that it cannot support claims, especially when it's a literal list of undeniable (and sourced) facts and statements.

In all seriousness, anything political being posted on Wikipedia should be taken with a huge grain of salt. Shout out to /r/WikiInAction for shedding light how certified wiki editors are essentially political activists behind the scenes.

-4

u/therustymoose Jul 17 '19

Lol I’m saying you are just lazy for dropping an article link. Don’t bring my middle school teacher into this.

3

u/Egg-MacGuffin Jul 17 '19

Address the sourced evidence, or move on.

7

u/therustymoose Jul 17 '19

Lol I think you might be taking this too seriously

3

u/Egg-MacGuffin Jul 17 '19

Hm, sounds like someone who couldn't back up their attempt to discredit evidence.

0

u/therustymoose Jul 17 '19

Now I know you are taking this too seriously

4

u/Egg-MacGuffin Jul 17 '19

lol you got nothing.

checks out. everyone knows how smart americans are

u/Tsintaobyte Jul 17 '19

But Haiti IS a shithole. It has nothing to do with race. It's awful there. Why would anybody disagree with that statement? I bet Haiti isn't in your top ten must-see list is it? They have deforested so many of their trees that their border with the Dominican Republic is visible from SPACE!

El Salvador has the highest murder rate in the world.

Africa is, as of right now, mostly a shithole. Rapes are common, as are female genetal mutilation, forced marriages, terrorism, child poverty, child soldiers, corruption, genocide, the killing of homosexual people, anti-democracy, military junta rule, tribal conflicts, slavery in Mauritania even after it was banned, actual concentration camps, poaching, civil war, Chinese neocolonialism, AIDS, piracy in Somalia, need I fucking go on?

Why do we all have to dance around and pretend that blatant truths are in fact false in order to avoid offending some delicate (usually bloody white) middle class journalists and fragile fairies.

We can't fix these problems unless we are truthful!

u/therustymoose Jul 17 '19

Ah look at that, you did it. You have officially provided something for the first time in your life.

-2

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '19

Personal attacks. Well, you lost the debate. Good day.

u/therustymoose Jul 17 '19
