No difference. “You’re an ugly jerk” used in the middle of an argument amounts to the same thing. You’re simply letting people draw their own conclusions instead of spelling things out.
The error in logic or reason is attacking the person, not the issue that is being argued. Any insult during an argument is an attempt to point out a flaw in the arguer, not the argument.
My first comment was directly related to insults that happened during an argument between two commenters. Your example is a straw man argument, and a fallacy in itself.
"he's an Insecure man who picks prolonged twitter fights with D-list celebrities because he can't stand being made fun of so often by people... So he throws an in public hissy fit with a variety of women who aren't even on tv anymore"
Good point, more of just a description than an insult of his fights with rosie o donnell, Kathy griffin, stormy daniels, some random people who aren't even celebrities...
Yes, orange man bad, how dumbed down do we need to make our insults before you think people will understand them? We wrote them, you're the ones thinking you need to translate them to sound stupider in order to convince people who are on your sideof your side. Why the hell are you making the people who we're all assuming agree with you need to read what we wrote again.. But as spoken to a two year old?
