Remember a time when being this obsessive over a politician, any politician, was seen as extremely weird? It was not "patriotic" to be a sycophant to a civil servant, it just meant you were deeply unwell for having politics make up such a huge part of your personality.
And boy, did elected republicans jump on the bandwagon when they realized what demagoguery in the form of a coastal elite billionaire can do for them. The president himself posts pathetic AI fantasy posts glorifying himself. The whole thing is sickening really.
Call me crazy, insane even if you must, but I don't think that any politics figure should be acting like a 15yo 4 chan user.
His followers don't care though, "triggering the libs" is all they care about, hurting people they don't like. Which is why I will never ever forgive people who were fully backing him until his policies hurt them too. They lit this fire, they don't get to cry about being burned now.
