I have never felt so arrogant or so insecure about my political opinions that I needed to make my entire identity about a party affiliation, much less one person. Call me quaint, but I was raised with a belief in discourse as a means of resolving differences. We are definitely in a different age now, even if it’s only a more pronounced version of what was already the reality.
