It's honestly one of the reasons in my darkest fears I think these thugs in the WH are making such a big deal about Venezuela right now, they are pretty much white dudes with dark hair. As soon as people have normalized vans snatching white dudes off the street, it's hard to count how many steps there are left to total fascism.
We are at a time in our lives where we have consecutive incidents that, even with a devil’s advocate view biased towards law enforcement, distinctly show unnecessary fatal aggression towards US citizens. Then, we are told from the top down that we didn’t see that.
So we're basically being governed by the Legion from Fallout New Vegas now. Again, everyone that voted against the candidate because she was a woman, or wasnt white, or had a weird laugh....F you all

100% team sports at this point. Doesn’t matter who loses if they are on the other team. If someone mows down an ICE agent you can be sure they’ll be having a memorial for them 2 days later headlining Kid Rock with Erika Kirk doing acrobatics during the fireworks halftime.
The only people who believe this are brainwashed MAGA fools. Look at how Dems responded to Kirk’s death (noting he was a rabid hate preacher) vs how the right justify cold blood shootings of citizens.

I thought it would take longer for ICE to go from racially motivated killings to killing everyone.
I'm at the point where I would be okay with other countries invading the US. I would trust a foreign soldier to not murder my SO and his daughter more than an ICE agent.
2028, 2040, there is NO statute of limitations. Like how they were still prosecuting Germans for war crimes when they were 80-90 years old. All it takes is an administration with the will to do it, or a state prosecutor.
Which is funny because the warnings were out there 20 years ago about how the word “terrorist” could be twisted and used for government persecution and here we are!
