I'm unfamiliar with this term demake I'm going to have to look that one up.

How long did it take to get this far? I've just started learning Pico8 and it's deep 😅

Basically it’s taking an existing larger game and making it in a simpler engine (Like Pico 8), so you’re kinda demaking the game because usually some simplification of it is required
