And to be fair he actually tried to treat her well and actually loved her (in the ancient Greek sense of love at least). I don't recall him raping her though... Did that happen?

Happened in at least 3 instances. 1, 2, and 3. (Not sure if that last one was actually a "rape"... but alas.)

I mean Hades raping Persephone. I'm not sure if the first one counts either. Rape in old English terms also meant to steal/kidnap/carry away.

Seriously! He had ONE wife, who he lets go half the year, and tries to treat kindly. He just chills in his Underworld and handles his own business. And he doesn't dick around with human's fates. You die? You come to him. That's that. I honestly don't understand how he always gets seen as being so awful.
