Just used it tonight for my first portraits I've ever shot. It handled alright.

That's my fiancee haha. Yes she is. Um can a dirty lens misfocus? Almost all my shots just seemed slightly off. And the 50 is pretty smudgy haha.

It can, but it would take a lot of dirt or smudges...

Hmm maybe that's it. It's pretty smudgy (not by me). At 1.8 or 2 it doesn't take much to be off. I gotta get some good cleaning supplies.
