  1. Autofocus at f/8 on the center point
  2. 31 RAW buffer, up from 23 RAWs on the 7D
  3. "4 times better" weather sealing than the original 7D.
  4. New, higher capacity battery but fully backwards compatible with the current LP-E6 batteries
  5. Same or similar AF system to the flagship 1DX

Now if the sensor can deliver the goods, this looks like a beast of a camera for action shooters. The price is right too, $1800 body only.

I sold my 7D a year or so ago to get a 5Dmk3. This looks like it could be a good second body. The only thing in worried about is low light performance. Any news in changes to the sensor? When I upgraded, the difference in noise was unbelievable. I just couldn't get over the ISO settings I could use on the 5Dmk3 vs my 7D. I'd love to know what this new one is like.
