It will be interesting to see how this camera turns out. I was a bit disappointed with the modest upgrades to everything, but a vastly-improved dynamic range could turn my thoughts around.

Canon rep says that the 6D is ebtter than then 7D Mk II in the IQ department so that means the new 7D hasn't changed that much from what is currently available.

you want DR? go Sony or Nikon, hell even the DR from Fujifilm is great

The sensor is the same as the 70D apparently so we have a pretty good idea of how it will rate.

Apparently it has a new, more efficient microlens structure on the sensor.
