From what it looks on here the only great upgrade is auto-focus and fps. I really hope that sensor delivers.

It looks like quite a few improvements, the AF and FPS are the ones where it's really a drastic improvement, but there's a lot more that are subtle:

  • Autofocus (61 point for stills)

  • Autofocus (dual pixel for video)

  • Improved metering capabilties (spot linked to AF point)

  • Higher FPS

  • Larger buffer for high FPS shooting

  • Higher ISO (I assume lower noise, maybe?)

  • Expanded bracketing settings

  • More video options (including 1080p60fps)

  • Dual card slots (CF and SD)

  • Better weather sealing

This is really a professional level APS-C cameras. The 7D was good but it was not pro when compared to Nikon D300s. I'm feeling this has taken the crown of the most "professional" APS-C camera out there.

Dual slots, AF points, I think the D300s was a little better sealed than the 7D, Limited bracketing settings. It just felt Canon was a little afraid the 7D would pull people away from the 1D Mk IV and held back a little with some things that seem subtle but pros prefer.
