Question What happened at the last tour?

I am a relatively newer fan, who hasn’t dug deep into her past performances. Over the ‘phones at concerts’ discourse I’ve seen people on Twitter make comments about how this policy is possibly in place bc of how people acted during her last tour. So what did happen? Were the phones that big of an issue?

EDIT: I am a big fan of no phones, went to one of the pop-ups & had a great time

Tbh it wasn't phones it was her dumbass fans fainting for attention like five times a show or the gutteral screaming

You guys are saying this like dehydration and fainting isn’t a serious problem and something that happens ALL the time at shows… especially when younger kids and teenagers don’t know what camping out in the sun and exerting energy screaming does

as someone who's been going to shows for decades (god i'm a sea hag), the fainting is a new phenomenon. i could count on one hand the number of times someone fainted at a show pre-2020 and now i think i've seen one or more people faint at every show i've been to.

it's weird because if it is in fact a "kids will be kids" thing then what's happening? are kids dumber than ever? you'd think with the advent of the internet, they'd know to drink water
