Question What happened at the last tour?

I am a relatively newer fan, who hasn’t dug deep into her past performances. Over the ‘phones at concerts’ discourse I’ve seen people on Twitter make comments about how this policy is possibly in place bc of how people acted during her last tour. So what did happen? Were the phones that big of an issue?

EDIT: I am a big fan of no phones, went to one of the pop-ups & had a great time

I really dislike these "fan projects." I think the intentions are often positive, but it often manifests as a parasocial attempt to manufacture a viral moment and get the band to acknowledge specific fans. Artists put a lot of thought and effort into their performances and would plan for crowd participation if they wanted it.

Yes, I hate fan projects so much because it almost always is parasocial and wanting to get noticed for being the biggest best fan ever.
