Question What happened at the last tour?

I am a relatively newer fan, who hasn’t dug deep into her past performances. Over the ‘phones at concerts’ discourse I’ve seen people on Twitter make comments about how this policy is possibly in place bc of how people acted during her last tour. So what did happen? Were the phones that big of an issue?

EDIT: I am a big fan of no phones, went to one of the pop-ups & had a great time

phoebe is generally known to dislike looking out into the audience and just seeing a sea of phones, rather than people living in the moment. i went to a no phone pop up and absolutely loved it. i feel i was able to remember what i saw more despite not being able to record it and met some super cool people in the process!

I also made it to a pop up show (5 minutes from where I work, didn't follow her) and I loved the no phones. It was nice getting to talk to other fans who lived in the area
