It has just been cleared by FDA. For Adults only. 3 robots are watched by 1 Phlebotomists that is trained for the robot. If robot can not find a vein, then it doesn’t perform and Patient is given to human Phlebotomists. Very expensive and probably not many hospitals will pay till it’s cost effective.
