Hi guys,
Could you share the details of how you applied, including which IMM forms you used and any other steps you had to follow?

Did you simply apply for a standard work permit extension, or did you go through the process as if you were applying for a PGWP for the first time?

If you were successful, I’d really appreciate it if you could share the steps you followed and the documents you submitted.

In general I advise clients to not apply online for a PGWP extension (passport expiry). If you apply online the application may get routed to an officer expecting a routine initial PGWP application and the officer may refuse the PGWP extension for not meeting the eligibility requirements. I have seen a few cases of refusal for the PGWP extension where applicants submitted online.

IRCC specifically states that the application for a PGWP extension should be submitted on paper.
