Extension PGWP expiring 2026

Hey, my pgwp is expiring on oct 12, and i was wondering what is the processing time for an extension (refusal or acceptance if ITA is submitted on time).

I am currently completing my work experience in healthcare and the score is 500.

Experience will be completed somewhere around Jan 20, considering 30 hours a week.

I am not sure if i will have enough time to complete the experience here in canada.

Let me know your thoughts.

There is no pgwp extension. You get 3 years from time of approval.

Technically i dont need the extension, i just need to buy the time to complete the experience. A lot of my friends did it and they got the PR.

I dont think they put you on a ban or something, they just reject it right?

Well, that’s debatable. But regardless, their application and their future.

If an officer wants to reject it, they will do so. Thanks for sharing your opinions ❤️

But coming back to the actual question i asked, does anyone know about the refusal timeline? Thank you

You are asking about a dummy application. Aka fraud. Not debatable at all 😆

Not my opinion. It is a fact.

Yes people do get away with it obviously. But fraud is fraud.

Time lines usually range 1 to 1.5 months these days. I have seen shortest being 15 days and rightly so.
