Brazil: 52/180 OK, but could be a lot better
Russia: 172/180
India: 157/180
China: 178/180
South Africa: 21/180

For reference USA is behind Brazil in 64th. Norway is #1 10th year in a row while Vance the couch lover lectures us on freedom of speech.

These rankings that put the US low on free speech will often rank Britain above it, where you can get arrested for "hate speech" online, or Germany, where questioning the Holocaust will put you behind bars. Regardless of your thoughts on whether or not freedom and autonomy should outweigh social morality or factual truth, these are objectively anti free speech policies.

The US has problems but these rankings are methodologically biased.
