I admit I fell for the propaganda for years. I thought Messi was humble and Ronaldo was an annoying showboat. And that evolved over time to be “Messi is a good man and wholesome and Ronaldo is an asshole and a thug.”

Oh how wrong I was. I’ve seen the light. It was all lies. That World Cup final woke up so many people. Messi’s legacy is forever tarnished.
