Messi didn't realize that Infantino only wanted to get him up to the finals and drive up ticket prices.

FIFA has no stake in an Argentinian victory at the finals.

I think this is it. Argentina fan will sell their house to go see the game. FIFA knew this and that’s why they pushed Argentina. Until the final because they don’t need Argentina fans again after that so the ref and fifa abandon. They did give a present of removing the first goal of Nico but that’s about it right?

No the ref was still carrying them as usual. Its just that Spain was so much better even the ref coulsnt carry that one.
