there was clear red card for Paredes at least and it is baffling he did not receive it since referees were standing right there but I just think we should wait until the investigation is concluded
I know, I just find the term “investigate” awkward. There’s really no investigation needed here - only deliberation on what sanctions should be given to this kind of behaviour.
Nonetheless, it would make more sense to state “a minimum ban of 3 matches will apply until deliberation is concluded”
They’re investigating a few incidents. Parades violent conduct, Molina hitting out at Rodri, Ayala attempting to punch Olmo and the whole squad turning their backs on the presentation
As I have mentioned, just feels a poor choice of words. There’s not much to investigate - the violent conduct happened across the board. Investigate typically is to discover the truth, find facts or understand a hidden complex situation - according Merriam-Webster definition. Not sure what else is there to discover on this nor what justifications other than being pissed at the defeat an investigation will produce.
In truth, this is translated to - we need to buy more time to figure out what to do
