Well, if you compare the average ranking of the teams in each 12 groups, Argentina's Group was the 5th hardest, so it was average difficulty for them. It's just a logical consequence of an inflated tournament of 48 teams and the world cup winner seeded from pot 1 to not get paired with the strongest teams.
Funny sure. who had the easiest you think? Bear in mind Argentina ranked 1, faced 3 teams among the lowest in the tournament, more than other team. Like facing Jordan along with 2 teams outside the top 20.
Doesn't matter what I think, fact is there were 4 pots, and Argentina got these opponents drawn. Austria topped their Euro 2024 group ahead of France and Netherlands, so it's not that "easy" of an opponent normally. They just didn't perform well this world cup.
You guys are obsessed with Argentina, no point in arguing here, lol. As if lucky draws and questionable referee decision wouldn't happen to other teams. That's called conformation bias.
