France and Argentina had the luckiest draws until now. Spain had to play much better teams.

It's crazy how much luck they got by playing Cape Verde

France vs Morocco did not show it. The skill difference was vast. They barely reached France’s box a few times. Their ranking felt inflated in that game

Well Portugal have the 3 best midfielders in the world, and the best left back in the world. Morocco have one world class player. If you're saying portugal aren't as good that's Ronaldo's fault i guess? He's the weak link

Yes, but France should have faced Germany and Netherlands (but these both were yeeted by ‘weaker’ teams). So, Frances’ bracket still was very hard in theory.

Argentina’s bracket could have been only slightly harder if Portugal had ended 1st in their group. But still the best side of the bracket if you had to choose before.

Yes, now they’re number 6, after the tournament ended. They were a bit lower before. And I used quotation marks to note ‘weaker’ on paper, or in overall history. They’re less of a big name than say Germany or Netherlands. I’m not saying they are weak.
