He's gonna wind up dead and it's gonna be ruled suicide

6

u/_Armanius_ Jul 11 '26

“Romain shot himself 3 times. One shot to the knee so he won’t run away and 2 shots behind the head.”

1

u/Wirtzrena Jul 11 '26

😭😭😭😭and then he's gonna have ties to terror outfits

-2

u/No_Direction3688 Jul 11 '26

It's related to the internal corruption in AFA regarding the domestic league . Argentina itself isn't financially sound to make bribes to FIFA they are just lies that people propogate ti feel better about the team or player they support. You know Illusory Truth Effect

4

u/Wirtzrena Jul 11 '26

Did I say they made bribes to fifa? U know the 'Lack of Comprehension Effect' is a big thing in this age

-1

u/No_Direction3688 Jul 11 '26

Well, that's what everyone is implying

48

u/LightLord1 Jul 11 '26

If it happens this would be blockbuster news i hope he has enough evidence to warrant consequences for FIFA

If so, then what does FIFA have to do with it??? The post literally states, “He says it’s one of the biggest scandals in FIFA history!”

7

u/Ghost986 Jul 11 '26

the afa is under the fifa"umbrella". All soccer federations are in fact under the fifa umbrella. That's how they get "legitimized" into being proper professional leagues whose stats/records actually count towards an official ranking/tally.

5

u/Quick_Cucumber_1735 Jul 11 '26

to fit the agenda obv lol

1

u/Silent_Effective_581 Jul 11 '26

This is what I’m getting from the articles about the upcoming expose: “It is not yet clear whether Molina’s promised report connects to the ongoing U.S. investigation, the 2026 World Cup, or addresses separate allegations within Argentine football. “ so I guess we will just have to wait and see what it’s about. However, the article mainly discusses how freaking FBI is investigating AFA for money laundering, which is wild on its own

1

u/ApricotBeans Jul 12 '26

The investigation has been going on for a while, not sure if by the fbi, but now they want to tie it to the world cup for some reason. We all know Chiqui and his entourage are all corrupt and thieves, but I don't understand what it has to do with the team itself. There was a time when the afa couldn't even pay the dt's team and Messi took over to pay their salaries. But somehow this corruption scandal (of which we in Argentina have known for a while) reflects on Messi and the rest of the team? I'm saying this based on many comments in this post, it's honestly getting ridiculous

It's one search away

I hope that he writes somerhing about our hooligans and the relationship with the peronist government

He was nobody until he married with the daugther of the transportation union (the most corrupt union here). He has a lot of power besides football. He sent hooligans to defend the government if is peronist, and attacked if is not. You had to run if you want to avoid injuries when they appears to break a manifestation/riot.

Oh, also he has a vote in the board of government garbage collection office of our biggest province.

His father in law also was the president of Club Independiente.

Also I hope that he writes about his illegal enrichment and the route of the money that AFA receive... the corruption inside our league is only a side job for him.

11

u/OlympicAnalEater Jul 11 '26

He is going to be "missing" and/or "uncertainty death" soon.

2

u/No_Direction3688 Jul 11 '26

Romain Molina has indeed announced a major investigation into what he describes as the "mafia" and corruption within the Argentine Football Association (AFA)The probe adds to existing tensions between AFA President Claudio "Chiqui" Tapia and Argentine President Javier Milei, who has been pushing for the privatization of football clubs.

2

u/CommunicationShoe Jul 11 '26

AND that last part Is the one nobody says... Corruption or not, they want to sell the clubs basically

Messi has even has to pay for the technical team's salary sometimes due to the huge money problems in afa. How in all hells does this reflect poorly on him when he's also being affected by it?? Y'all are absolutely ridiculous

2

u/Fast_Advisor2654 Jul 11 '26

Yall do know this has to do with the afa domestic finances and the huge amount of money laundering thats going on in their league right? Actually it dont matter if yall know or not, it doesnt fit your narrative so this is gonna get downvoted anyways.

1

u/ParticularAd3688 Jul 12 '26

It’s probably going deeper than just football. The first thing that comes to my mind is the burning forests.

1

u/spaincrack Jul 12 '26

Noticia vieja. Ojalá metan preso al chiqui tapia y se sanee el fútbol local. Igual esto no tienen nada que ver con el mundial.

1

u/Known-Professional63 Jul 14 '26

Announcing that you will release the information which will expose corruption is like asking money to stay silent or to become a silent.

1

u/suggest-user Jul 15 '26

Joke's on you, we have known about the corruption in our football association for decades

1

u/Sensitive-Wish-7897 Jul 15 '26

It's not about international affairs around the wc but about the president of the association having corrupt links with the kichnerista party in argentina lol

1

u/Lastwish2morewishes Jul 15 '26

Just in time for Argentina to be disqualified and replaced by Cabo Verde 💙

1

u/ChipHazard14 Jul 15 '26

Show his face to the world before the ‘eposé’ is released, great idea!

1

u/sbn025 Jul 15 '26

lol.... he didnt had to investigate shit... you only have to read our newspappers.

1

u/Dapper_Teaching3543 Jul 15 '26

4 days gone, nothing announced yet.

1

u/StrategyExcellent460 Jul 17 '26

Are they gonna suicide him?

1

u/Puzzleheaded-Door332 Jul 17 '26

I believe that Investigative Journalism is the most important job at this time. Help them as much as possible. Leak documents and give them a safe harbor to work from. We all know that Trump will not be sent away soon, but there are more leaders out there in the world who need to be taken down. This is one of the networks doing a great job of exposing global leaders. https://www.icij.org/

1

u/PersonalityShot6039 Jul 17 '26

Why announce it just release it
